Baijiaxing: The Norms of Chinese Family Names

This talk will introduce the concept of baijiaxing, meaning hundred of family names in Chinese culture. It will also report the initial findings from the Chinese family name survey, to help people understand some characteristics and uniqueness. Learners of Chinese as well as anyone who’s interested in getting a proper Chinese name for their personal interest or business use will find it useful.
