Well before the full moon ascended to the sky marking the Mid-Autumn Festival sentiment, the Language Centre organised the online celebration right mid-day, 1st Oct, to entertain Queen’s students and staff members, new and old, with a cultural talk led by Dr Liang Wang, cultural performances (Xiaoxuan Xia, Xiaomin Wang and Haiying Liang) and poem appreciation (Sihua Tang) via MS Teams.

This was not the first time that the Language Centre launches festive celebrations as part of promoting cultural diversity at Queen’s, especially on the particular occasion of welcoming new students from a Chinese-speaking background which associates Mid-Autumn Festival with family reunion and thanks-giving.

To help those who missed the event to follow up, we have collected the resources below for appreciation.

  1. Its rare for me to discover something on the net that is as entertaining and fascinating as what you have got here. Your page is sweet, your graphics are great, and whats more, you use reference that are relevant to what youre saying. Youre certainly one in a million, well done!
