Carlo Di Franco Joins QTeQ as a postdoctoral fellow
Carlo comes back home and will work with us starting from July 2012 until March 2014 (or whenever he’s tired of us 😉 ). We are thrilled!

Andre’ towards the 2012 Lindau meeting!
Andre’ Xuereb has been chosen by this Alma Mater, the University of Malta, to attend the next Lindau meeting, where young scientists, among the best across all the fields of science, have a chance to meet Nobel laureates.
This is a big achievement and recognition for Andre’, who will be also presenting at the meeting. Is this an omen for “future” awards?!?
Jie is awarded a Purser bursary!
Jie Li, who is studying toward his PhD with us, has been awarded a two-year Purser bursary (worth 3500 pounds) to support his research in Belfast. We are proud of him!
Laura is awarded a prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship

QTeQ awarded EPSRC grant!
27 March 2012: QTeQ is awarded a £ 200k grant under the EPSRC “New directions for research leaders” initiative. A new member of the family will soon join us!
