Yulong LI is a PhD student in anthropology at Queen’s. His research interest is Anthropology and Tourism.
Outline:
1) How much do you know about Puer tea?
2) How much do you know about Blang people?
3) Do you know how the Blang people celebrate their New Year’s Festival?
This talk aims to introduce one celebration way of the New Year’s Festival in a Blang Village, China. I will explain how this festival is related to tea production. I will discuss both tea rituals and tea production are important for the sustainable development of the local Blang people.
