Lili LI was born and raised in an academic milieu where she immersed herself in the study of Chinese ink painting and calligraphy from an early age. Despite pursuing a career in the financial and business sectors and actively engaging in voluntary work, her true passion has always been the arts. During the pandemic period, she delved into the realm of oil painting, exploring both traditional techniques and modern methods to depict movement and the essence of life.
Wenli ZHANG has worked in various professional roles in university/college and public sectors in NI. She loves traditional Chinese art, and applies both freehand ink wash and meticulous technique (gong bi) in her artworks. Her flowers and birds, landscape, and figure paintings represent a symbol of good luck and blessing of the traditional culture. She is an active member of the ArtEast club.
