In 2023 the Mid-Autumn Festival falls on Friday 29th September, which nicely fits in the welcome season at Queen’s. The iRISE staff network and The Language Centre would like to invite staff members and students, international and home, to join us in our social and welcome event between 2:00 and 4:30 pm on the day.
The celebration will include a welcome session, a cultural talk with a taste of not only the symbolic mooncakes, but also guzheng music and magic performances contributed by Queen’s Chinese alumni.
The event is open and free to staff members and students, but booking is essential due to limited room capacity and catering purposes.

Thanks, Tianpeng, the same wishes go to you and your family. Thanks for the photos, they are brilliant!
I do really appreciate the LC gave me the opportunity to get together with so many students from different cultures to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. And I was the luckiest guy to get a whole yolk in my share of Mooncake 😋
Glad you enjoyed yourself and the whole egg yolk!
