Our Marketing and Communications Intern, Emily, explains what she has been up to and how you could be in with a chance of winning a £20 Hope Café Voucher

I really can’t believe that I am officially half way through my Marketing and Communications Internship with Information Services, the time really has flew by. There has been one major update since my last blog – I have finally returned back to Belfast from Liverpool after what was a very exciting time for Liverpool with the big LFC win.

I am extremely grateful for everyone who participated in the survey, which was posted in the last blog. It was really insightful and has been extremely valuable for my research for the Information Services.

Although, I am still working from home, I have still had so many valuable opportunities to meet different staff members across the Information Services and get an insight into the different departments and the work they do. I have been really lucky to be able to experience the behind the scenes communication preparations that have taken place for the McClay Library’s reopening.

I am sure you are all aware that the McClay Library has now reopened, and we would really like to know your feedback on the Library’s communications regarding the reopening and the safety measurements that have been put in place to ensure social distancing.

I will be at the entrance of the McClay asking people to participate in the survey by scanning a QR code or via a URL link. The best part is – all participants have the opportunity to be entered into our prize draw to win a £20 Hope Café Voucher!

You can answer the survey via the URL link here – http://go.qub.ac.uk/covidstudentsurvey

Once again, I can’t thank all of the Information Services staff for being so helpful, supportive and encouraging throughout my research. I can’t wait to see what else I will learn in the last half of my internship.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog. If you have any questions regarding my research, internship or are seeking advice regarding a MSc programme please do not hesitate to get in touch my email is – ebrumskill01@qub.ac.uk
