JISC MediaHub enables cross-searching and exploration of TV news, documentary films, still images and classical music from the following archives:

Digital Images for Education including:  AP Archive, Getty Images, ITN, Design Council Archives, Imperial War Museum, Royal Geographical Society, and PYMCA.

NewsFilm Online  including: the complete Gaumont and Paramount newsreels, from 1910 and 1934 respectively.

Film & Sound Online including: the Wellcome Library and the Biochemical Society. The archive also includes over 50 hours of classical music recording from the Culverhouse collection.

JISC MediaHub also enables users to search and link out to external media collections such as the Open Video Project, Wellcome Images, ADS and ARKive.

How to search it?

JISC MediaHub is available on LibGuides for Creative Arts and also on QCat. Log in using your usual username and password.

The site can be searched by keyword and advanced search. You can also narrow down according to video, image or audio.

Simply Explore!

You can explore JISC MediaHub by Collection, Subject, Place and Time. Explore by Collection contains many well known media collections such as ITN, Getty Images and Reuters but there is also a wealth of obscure collections available.
