VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Canvas is the virtual learning environment (VLE) at Queen’s University Belfast. It is used by staff and students to access and manage online course learning materials, connecting all the digital tools which we use in one easy place.  Canvas includes a variety of customisable course creation and management tools, course and user analytics and statistics, and internal communication tools.

Support & Guidance

'How do I ...'?

If you Need Help with using Canvas, Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year via the ‘Help’ button located on the left-hand menu in Canvas. A number of contact methods are available to you from there.

Training & Support

A range of Canvas Training is available. Choose from online resources or live virtual training with the opportunity to ask questions, engage in practice activities and discover how to successfully leverage Canvas to enhance and support instructional practices for AY2020/21.

1-2-1 Guided Support

Guided 1-2-1 support sessions are available to Module Conveners or Programme Teams, (subject to availability). Work alongside a Canvas expert to fast-track the course development process.
