A four-week period of Twenty-Four opening will commence, in the McClay Library, on Sunday 19 November 2017.
During these weeks, the Library will open its doors at 8 o’clock on Sunday mornings and remain open until late on Friday evenings, closing at 2 o’clock on Saturday mornings.
It will then open again, early, at 6 0’clock on Saturday morning and, remain open until 2 o’clock on Sunday mornings.
The last day of Twenty-Four opening will be on Friday 15 December 2017.
A valid Student or Library Card will be required to obtain admission. Staff will be carrying out additional identity checks during this period.
In the run-up to Christmas, the Library will close earlier than normal.
It will be open from 08:00, Monday to Friday week beginning 18 December and, close at 20:30, except on Friday when it will shut at 17:30. It will also be open on Saturday 23 December from 10:00 until 17:30.
The Library will be closed from Christmas Eve until New Year’s Day inclusive. However, study and self-service facilities will be available in the McClay Library from 09:00 until 17:00 on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 December 2017. Students will need to have a valid card to obtain admission. Staff will be carrying out additional identity checks during the Christmas Vacation.
Normal term-time opening, 08:00 until 02:00 will resume on Tuesday 02 January 2018.
