Research Councils UK (RCUK) have confirmed that the open access block grant will continue for the next two years.
Queen’s receives an open access grant allocation from the RCUK twice a year. The funds
are made available to support universities in meeting the requirements of the RCUK Open Access Policy, in particular meeting the cost of article processing charges (APC) to make articles ‘gold’ open access through the publisher.
If you have received RCUK funding and are publishing in a fully open access journal you should contact firstname.lastname@example.org before submission to ensure there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of your article processing charge (APC).
