Collaboration is good – International OA Week at QUB

Last week was International Open Access Week. The theme was collaboration, which highlighted the importance and need for sharing research and information across the world. The Library’s Open Access Team organised a series of sessions including: What is Open Access?, How to Comply with HEFCE’s Open Access Policy for the REF, and Copyright and Licensing for Researchers.  Thank you to all those who attended, we hope you found it useful, and congratulations to the lucky winners of the Amazon vouchers.

If you would like to download the presentations from any of the events or are interested in further training, please click here. If you would like to get some Top Tips for using Pure, please drop us an email at openaccess@qub.ac.uk

We had a great turn out at the sessions and the responses from participants were very positive. The team are here to help and are keen to engage with researchers about Open Access.

We have just launched our Open Access QUB Twitter account and we hope that you will join the conversation on open access topics, share your research successes with us and communicate with your fellow researchers.
