An exhibit has been set up in the AFBI Library at Newforge entitled ‘Food Science at AFBI’ showcasing two elements of the Food Science Branch research:
(i) the commercial Campylobacter testing service offered to the poultry industry by Food Microbiology, and
(ii) the production of reduced fat Cheddar cheese fortified with omega-3 fatty acids, a DARD Evidence & Innovation project run jointly between Food Microbiology and Food Chemistry.
