Open Access Publisher memberships

The Library has recently acquired open access memberships to various publishers to help Queen’s research staff with payment of open access publication fees. Memberships include:

BioMed Central Pre-pay Membership, Limited funding is available to pay full publishing costs of articles authored by Queen’s researchers and published by BioMed Central.

Royal Society Open Access Institutional Membership entitles Queen’s research staff and students to a 25% discount on article processing charges (APCs) for open access publications in any of the Royal Society’s journals.

PLOS (Public Library of Science) Institutional Membership, this membership is pending.  Queen’s researchers will be entitled to a 10% discount on publication fees in all PLOS journals.
