Ordnance Survey Maps Now Available Online

The Library has taken out a subscription to the Digimap Ordnance Survey Collection, a service that allows users to view and create maps of any location in England, Scotland and Wales using Ordnance Survey map data. Users can also download data for use in other software packages such as Geographical Information Systems (GIS), drawing software and CAD.

Access to Digimap is either via QCat or QSearch. The first time you try to log in to the Ordnance Survey Collection, you will be asked to register your details with the Digimap host EDINA. Please note that registration can take up to 2 working days to be processed. Once you receive a confirmation email from EDINA, you can access Digimap from QCat or QSearch with your usual Queen’s username and password.

Online context-sensitive help is provided within Digimap and you can download a ‘Digimap Quick Reference Guide” here.

If you have any comments or queries, please email digimap@qub.ac.uk
