The M-Fest is a flagship event hosted by the Malaysian Student Society in Northern Ireland (MSSNI), who will bring Malaysian food to Queen’s and Belfast. It is festive day filled with fun and nostalgia as its members will experience and enjoy the environment of hawker/mamak-style restaurants. There’ll be food, fun and maybe a good luck to win prizes.
Jom Mamak!
In Malaysia and Singapore, Mamak refers to the roadside stalls selling Muslim Tamil or Malay cuisine. Jom Mamak means ‘Let’s go to Mamak’.
Early bird coupon booklets (RM12 for every £10 booklet bought) will be sold prior to the event at the SU during the time slots. Coupons will also be sold at the usual price (RM10 for every £10 booklet bought) during the event.
