This QUB DEIB Forum was a joint initiative organised by QBS DEIB Committee and The Language Centre, with support from QUB iRise Network.
This forum aims to:
- Strengthen collaboration between different university support units and external stakeholders.
- Examine the key challenges international students and staff members face in academic, professional, and cultural integration.
- Facilitate dialogue among university support teams, faculty members, and student representatives.
- Explore effective strategies and initiatives to enhance international students’ and staffs’ experiences in UK higher education.
This DEIB Forum means to focus on staff-student interaction and exchange of ideas and practice, and welcomes proposals from colleagues and student societies to raise issues that we care about academically, professionally, culturally and civically.
