Due to the installation of the new fire suppression system at Special Collections & Archives we must modify service operations (retrieval and re-shelving ) for the next 3 weeks.
Staff at Special Collections & Archives will not be able to offer the usual on demand service (retrieval of materials from the Store). There will be timed retrievals scheduled at 10.00 – 10.30 and 13.00 -13.30 and 17.00-19.00 Monday to Friday. These times will be strictly observed in order to facilitate the work and have it completed as quickly as possible. Saturday service will not be impacted by the building work.
The requirement to provide at least 24 hours advance notice for manuscript requests will have to be strictly enforced.
The restrictions starts on Monday 11 November 2019. We will alert you to the completion of work and revert to normal on demand services for print materials.
