Bytes of Inclusion: AI’s Impact on Accessibility

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to become a powerful ally for accessibility and digital inclusion. AI can help create more accessible content and enhance assistive technology for students with disabilities. This workshop provides an overview of the principles and standards of accessibility and digital inclusion. It also explores the possibilities and challenges of using AI for accessibility.  

We will explore a selection of tools and apps that use AI to help educators to improve the accessibility of their content and resources. We will also look at assistive technology that integrates AI capabilities, such as general study and notetaking tools, text-to-speech applications, seeing AI and more.
