5 Things To Do This January

After a hectic holiday season, January can be a really good time to take a moment to reset and spend time on yourself.

1. Dry January

The holidays often come with lots of alcohol involved, so January can be a really good time to take some time off and give your liver a bit of a break. You can make Dry January whatever you want, you can go sober or you can choose to only have a couple at the weekend, the choice is yours!

2. Veganuary

Veganuary has become pretty popular over the last few years, and it’s becoming easier and easier to try going vegan with so many brilliant options and substitutes.

3. Set New Goals

January often feels like you need to make huge new resolutions and whilst it’s a good time to make some new goals they don’t need to be big and bold. In fact, making smaller, more achievable goals will make you feel better and you’re more likely to complete them. Make sure not to put too much pressure on yourself!

4. Focus on your Mental Health

The prospect of the new year can be quite overwhelming so it’s important to take some time to focus on your mind and take care of yourself. There are so many ways to do this, try meditating or commit to going on a walk once a week. Looking after your mental and physical health is really important. 5. Take Up A New Hobby Or Project

What better time to start that project you’ve been putting off or take up the hobby you’ve been thinking about? It doesn’t have to be big or complicated but you’ll feel accomplished and learn something new along the way. Joining an SU Club or Society could be a good way to start something new!
