It’s finally here! We hope you love this space as much we do, and we can’t wait to see you there! But for now, have a quick read to find out more about your new Students’ Union….
1. Hang out in our Social Spaces
There are loads of areas to chill out or study with friends, from the social staircase at the main foyer, to the SU Collaboration space on the second floor.
There’s even the SU Lounge on the third floor with free tea and coffee, microwaves to heat up meals and a balcony to enjoy when the sun makes an appearance!
2. Food and Drink
Looking for something quick to go, or maybe you want to have a sit-down meal with your friends- either way we’ve got you covered. The Union Shop is located on the ground floor and has a vegan-friendly barista bar, a burrito bar and hot food counter for quick grab and go meals.

3. Wellbeing, Advice and Sexual Health
We want you to know where to find us should you need us for anything. SU Advice is located on the third floor to give you free, confidential, and non-judgmental advice - impartial and independent of the University. They have a free Drop in service which for students on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 11:30am – 2pm.
Our Free Sexual Health Clinic is also located on the third floor beside SU Advice and will run every Monday (10am – 3pm) during term time.
4. Check out Mandela Hall
It’s Baaaaack! The new and improved Mandela Hall, our music and entertainment venue on the ground floor, hosts club nights, concerts and comedy shows throughout the year. Find out what’s on through their website or via our events section.
5. Find your Student Officers and SU Team
Our Student Officers and SU Services such as SU Clubs and Societies, SU Enterprise and SU Voice and SU Volunteer are available on the first floor of the Students’ Union. Stop by and say hello if you have questions about the services available for you!
