CABI Resources Trial

The AFBI Library is running a concurrent trial of three CABI resources until the end of March.

CAB Reviews

CAB Reviews is an international reviews journal covering agriculture, food, environmental and animal sciences.   Over 4,000 review articles not available through other journals are accessible, covering subjects such as agriculture, global health, nutrition, natural resources and veterinary science.

Crop Protection Compendium

The Crop Protection Compendium (CPC) is a resource that brings together a wide range of different types of science-based information on crop protection. It has detailed datasheets on pests, diseases, weeds, host crops and natural enemies sourced from experts, edited by an independent scientific organization, and enhanced with data, images, maps, a bibliographic database and full text articles.

Pest Risk Analysis Tool

The Pest Risk Analysis Tool is a decision support tool that presents scientific information from the CABI Crop Protection Compendium (CPC) to aid the selection of appropriate measures for reducing risks associated with the introduction of plant pests and facilitating the safe movement of plants and plant products.  You will be required to create a CABI account to utilise this tool.  Click here for access.
