The MEDIA (Media Employability Development In Action) programme was established in April 2016 with two purposes –
1. Create alternative communications for AHSS students who wouldn’t tend to engage with a careers service to let them know all the opportunities available to them at each stage.
2. Create practical real life work experience for an AHSS student editorial team as they develop, write for and produce The Edit. This involved training with employers and sector professionals in all aspects of media, including writing, advertising, marketing and film production.
