In the run-up to the UK referendum on continued EU membership, opinions were divided and very pronounced. Most agreed that this was one of the most important decisions in this decade for the electorate to take. We invited the general public to reflect on the EU referendum and put questions to experts from Queen’s and beyond.  A full report of the event is available now.

Declan Lawn of the BBC chaired a panel made up of the following EU specialists:

Professor Catherine Barnard, Cambridge University, Professor of European Law

Dr Lee McGowan, Queen’s University Belfast, Lecturer in Politics and International Studies

Dr Angus Armstrong, National Institute of Economic and Social Research, Principal Research Fellow

Professor Dagmar Schiek, Queen’s University Belfast, Professor of Law, Jean Monnet ad personam Chair for EU Law and Politics
