Make a Splash at Let’s Go Hydro
If your looking for something entertaining, hilarious and active, this is the place for you! From their infamous inflatable water park to their outdoor cinema nights, there is always something happening. This is guaranteed to fill your day with both chaos, laughter and maybe even a few total wipeouts.
Take a Trip to the North Coast
Hop on a train or jump in the car and take a trip down to the North Coast. Here you can explore the Giants Causeway, brave the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and even chill on the beach in Portrush with a giant ice cream in hand. The views here are unbelievable and are worth every second of the journey!
Sing Along to Live Music
Summer and live music are a perfect match so make sure to check out any outdoor gigs that are happening in Ormeau Park or Custom House Square. You can even support some local artists in Mandela Hall or local bars if you prefer an indoor vibe. Whether you’re into indie, pop or country, Belfast’s music scene has something for every taste.
Enjoy an Entertaining Play
The arts scene is booming in Belfast! Head to the Grand Opera House or the Lyric Theatre to enjoy a night of drama, comedy or musical fun. You can even make a full evening of it with dinner and drinks in the Cathedral Quarter beforehand. There are endless food and drink spots to choose from and the atmosphere is always buzzing.
Visit Belfast Zoo
Meet some of the world’s most fascinating animals right here in Belfast. From penguins to monkeys, there’s so much to see. Belfast Zoo is always a great way to spend a chilled-out summer day, but just be prepared for a few uphill walks (your legs might not thank you for it!).
Beach Day at Helen’s Bay
When the sun decides to show up, Helen’s Bay is a must. Grab some friends, pack a picnic and head down to the beach for games, sandcastle building and delicious ice cream. If your feeling brave you can even take a dip in the sea to cool off.
