Elsevier support for IE7 ends

Elsevier has announced that it is ceasing support for Internet Explorer 7.   The latest version of IE is version 11, but IE7 is still used in HSC Trusts to some extent.  The ending of support does not necessarily mean that there will be problems accessing Elsevier resources.  It merely introduces the possibility that, should problems arise in the future, the publisher will not assist with resolving them.  Resources published by Elsevier which are available via honni are ‘Science Direct’ and ‘Clinical Key’ so these are the resources which could potentially be affected.

In the unlikely event that you do experience problems with either of these resources you may need to request that IE be updated to a newer version.  If you are still using IE7 on a home computer used to access resources, we recommend that you update your browser now.
