Assistive Tech Hub
At Queen’s, we know that the right technology can make all the difference in your studies. Whether you need support with reading, writing, organisation, or focus, there are fantastic tools available to help. That’s why we’ve created the Assistive Tech (AT) Hub – a dedicated space where students can find information, guidance, and support on using digital study tools and assistive technology (AT) effectively.
What is the AT Hub?
The AT Hub is an online resource designed to help you get the most out of the assistive technology available at Queen’s:
- Check out our Training & Events page to sign up for the Study Smarts series — quick lunchtime sessions packed with digital tools and tips to make studying easier, smarter, and way less stressful
- Check out the Digital Study Tools & Resources – Step-by-step instructions on using digital tools, and advice on how to integrate assistive technology into your daily routine.
Who is the AT Hub for?
The AT Hub is open to all students, not just those registered with Accessible Learning Services.
👉 Students registered with Accessible Learning Services (ALS) can book a 1-1 assistive technology support session for personalised guidance here.
How Can the AT Hub Help You?
Studying can feel overwhelming at times — that’s where the AT Hub comes in. We’ll show you quick, practical tools (many already built into your device) to make learning smoother and less stressful.
- Reading & Research
Struggling with long articles or dense textbooks? Tools like Immersive Reader and Copilot can read text aloud or summarise key points for you. If you’d like extra features, try Read&Write.
