About

The overall purpose of this blog is to provide a safe space for staff and students and the wider community to share and develop ideas focused on Psychological Well-being and Mental Health Nursing. It is intended to be a community blog. By this we mean that individuals and teams will be able to reflect on and share experiences of working within the field of Mental Health and Mental Health Nursing.

Who is it for?

The blog is written for staff and students in the school of Nursing and Midwifery at Queens University. That said, we hope that the information be transferable across the UK and also across disciplines.

Contributing to the blog

The blog will only be successful if staff and students engage with it. We welcome contributions from across the school to help us build this into a valuable resource within the School of Nursing and Midwifery. What are your thoughts about Mental Health Nursing? If you’re not involved directly in Mental Health Nursing what issues do you confront every day? Do you feel equipped to work with Mental Health Problems?  What about your own vulnerability to stress? Are you a student learning a topic you never thought would apply to you? Why not reflect on this- what can we learn? We look forward to hearing from you.
