    FIXED – The problem on Tuesday accessing some Healthcare Library E-resources has now been resolved.

    Full access has now been restored.

  • My Account problem – RESOLVED

    Access to The Healthcare Library My Account service has now been restored.

    You can once again view your loans and place requests etc.

    Thank you for your patience over the last two days while this service was not available.

  • Catalogue Search operational

    There was a problem with the catalogue search on the homepage for a period today – This has now been resolved.

    The alternative search URL will continue to work, but the search box on the homepage is fully operational.

    Our apologies again if this caused you any difficulties today.

  • RESOLVED – Full Text Finder and E-Journals A-Z problem

    We are currently experiencing a problem with access to certain resources via Full Text Finder and the E-Journals A-Z list.
    Our suppliers have been made aware of this and are currently investigating.
    Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this.

  • ClinicalKey Access RESOLVED

    The problem with direct access to some ClinicalKey resources has now been resolved.

    Access using published links to resources has been fully restored and now simply requires your Healthcare Library login.

    Thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve this.

  • E-resource availability

    If you are having problems accessing our E-resources, please try again. This is an intermittent problem and access will be available again after a short period.

    We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

  • ClinicalKey Access – UPDATE 28.01.22

    ClinicalKey have confirmed that the current problem with direct access to some ClinicalKey resources will be resolved in the coming days. They are aware that this is a vital resource for our members and are working to have the fix implemented as soon as possible.

    Until the resolution is in place, please continue to use the steps below to access ClinicalKey:
    1. Please click following link https://www.clinicalkey.com/#!/choose-institution
    2. Search for institution – Healthcare Library of Northern Ireland – and click the name to log in.
    3. Login as normal using your library number and password.

    This login should allow access to eBooks etc. in the normal way from within EDS if accessed on the same browser session.

    ClinicalKey journal articles are not affected and can be accessed directly from EDS without going through this additional step.

    Our apologies again for the inconvenience this is causing.
