The Eutopia Arthouse Film Festival (EAFF), hosted by Queen’s University Belfast, is organized by the Queen’s University Belfast Language Centre, the Queen’s University Belfast AEL College, and co-hosted by the Central European Youth Film Society, as part of the Queen’s Annual Fund-supported projects. The festival takes place annually from February to May in the capital of Northern Ireland,Belfast.

EAFF is a non-profit international film festival aimed at fostering artistic exchange and development among young filmmakers, particularly supporting university students or teams creating films during their academic research.

EAFF encompasses an offline film exhibition held at the Queen’s, providing students, scholars, and film enthusiasts from around the world with an opportunity to explore cultural diversity through visual storytelling. EAFF also features a series of thematic seminars, combining both online and offline formats, serving as a platform for emerging filmmakers from diverse cultural backgrounds to exchange ideas. Through the medium of film, these discussions aim to showcase the rich nuances of their respective cultures.
