Call for Papers

The Common Ground 2024 Conference Organising Committee invite you to join us and share the connections you have been building through your research activity.

We welcome proposals from postgraduate students and early career researchers across the diverse range of disciplines within AEL to explore connections in literature, culture and society.

We also welcome proposals for posters and videos.

You may interpret the theme Connections: Building Community in any way you choose! Potential topics may include, but are not limited to:

• Connections between literature, culture and society
• Connections between language, culture and society
• Connections between literary/cultural texts or authors across time, space and genre
• Connections across disciplines
• The value of building community in the Arts, English and Languages
