Lana’s project for a European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk, Poland is an appropriate “shipyard” building dynamically located on the historic waterfront with an integrated landscape design.

Laura’s Bookhouse Library for Nicosia, Cyprus is a fitting award winner. Good analysis linked to an understanding of urban place and library space gives us a design that fits the grain of the city and the rediscovery of what makes a good library.
