We are looking forward to an opening contribution from Tina McKenzie<\/a> Country MD for Staffline Companies Ireland. Tina has nearly 25 years\u2019 leadership experience in the recruitment and HR sector. In 2018 she was named Business Personality of the Year in Northern Ireland and last month was awarded a lifetime achievement award at the Belfast Telegraph Business Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Clare Scholes<\/a> and her colleague Fiona Matson<\/a> from Global law firm Baker McKenzie<\/a> will discuss their careers and influences. We will hear their perspectives on working in multinational organisations and the opportunities available to those at an early stage in their career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will then be joined by three female business founders, Darlene McCormick<\/a>, Fiona Fegan<\/a> and Alison Millar<\/a>. Darlene is a Vegan entrepreneur who founded award winning \u2018That Protein\u2019 in 2014. She had a background in communications and PR, before turning to nutrition and the growing super food sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fiona Fegan is originally from a farming background near Newry, and established her first business, an engineering consultancy, when she left College. She launched Finca, a specialist Skincare brand in 2018. The products in the Finca range target Rosacea, a skin condition that counts Donald Trump as a sufferer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The film and TV sector has established a significant presence in Northern Ireland over the last decade. Although like many creative industries it is having to adapt to the current pandemic restrictions. Award winning documentary film maker Alison Millar will talk about her experience in the industry, the potential career pathways involved and what it takes to create great content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To round of the session we will be joined by from Suzanne Wylie<\/a>, CEO of Belfast City Council<\/a>. Suzanne will explain how Belfast supports business and the importance of the City brand to inspire and encourage start-up ventures. As a former Queen\u2019s student she will also offer her advice to those about to enter the workforce or who are considering setting up their own business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
