1. Check out Banana Block<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Banana Block is a new living museum and events space set within a historic linen mill in East Belfast and is inspired by the curious connections between Belfast and bananas.. don’t worry it’s all explained in Banana Block!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of each month it holds “The East Block Bizaar<\/a>“- a monthly market made up of local artisan producers, makers, growers, vintage and curios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry is free & this space is also dog friendly- so expect to see plenty of cute puppies! You don’t have to spend any money to attend but if you want to you can pick up some local handmade items to spruce up your living space or grab a bite to eat or drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Dander around St Georges Market<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

St George\u2019s Market is one of Belfast\u2019s oldest attractions and a great way to get a feel of Belfast before the high street stores. If you love shopping small, rare finds and handmade items this is the place to go. But you don\u2019t have to spend your money either- walking around, seeing what\u2019s on offer and listening to the local music acts is more than enough!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St George\u2019s Market is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday and you can get there easily by bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Head to Stormont Estate<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On Stormont Estate there are beautiful gardens, a variety of walks, fitness and adventure trails, picnic and barbecue areas, historic buildings and monuments. You can even take a free tour<\/a> of the building!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Try out a free event at the Students\u2019 Union<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
