{"id":1579,"date":"2019-11-08T12:43:14","date_gmt":"2019-11-08T12:43:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/specialcollections\/?p=1579"},"modified":"2019-11-08T16:07:22","modified_gmt":"2019-11-08T16:07:22","slug":"restricted-access-to-special-collections-materials-for-3-weeks-from-monday-11-november-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/specialcollections\/restricted-access-to-special-collections-materials-for-3-weeks-from-monday-11-november-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Restricted Access to Special Collections Materials:     for 3 weeks from Monday 11 November 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to &nbsp;the installation of the new fire suppression\nsystem at Special Collections &amp; Archives we must modify service operations\n(retrieval and re-shelving ) for the next 3 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Staff at Special Collections &amp; Archives will not be able\nto offer the usual on demand service (retrieval of materials from the Store).\nThere will be timed retrievals scheduled at <strong>10.00 \u2013 10.30 and 13.00 -13.30\nand 17.00-19.00 Monday to Friday<\/strong>. These times will be strictly observed in\norder to facilitate the work and have it completed as quickly as possible.\nSaturday service will not be impacted by the building work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The requirement to provide at least <strong>24 hours advance notice for manuscript requests<\/strong> will have to be strictly enforced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The restrictions starts on Monday 11 November 2019.
