The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/esrc.ukri.org\/public-engagement\/festival-of-social-science\/festival-events\/events-in-northern-ireland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Northern Ireland ESRC Festival of Social Science<\/a>&nbsp;kicks off across Northern Ireland in various venues from 2 \u2013 9 November 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UK-wide Festival of Social Science is run by the Economic and Social Research Council, and aims to open up social science research to new audiences by showing how such research has an influence on our everyday lives.
