{"id":4583,"date":"2024-06-10T00:41:20","date_gmt":"2024-06-09T23:41:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/mandarinchinese\/?p=4583"},"modified":"2024-06-10T09:31:12","modified_gmt":"2024-06-10T08:31:12","slug":"duanwu-festival-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/mandarinchinese\/2024\/06\/10\/duanwu-festival-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Duanwu Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This year the Duanwu Festival (\u7aef\u5348\u8282 Du\u0101nw\u01d4 ji\u00e9), or Dragon Boat Festival (\u9f99\u821f\u8282 L\u00f3ngzh\u014du ji\u00e9) as widely known outside of China, falls on Monday 10th June 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To honor this traditional celebration, our Chinese@Queen&#8217;s Blog editor, Lauren McShane (\u6885\u8c22\u5170), has crafted a sachet of herbs (\u9999\u56ca xi\u0101ngn\u00e1ng).
