This is a brief guide on choosing the correct template.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chapter in Book\/Report\/Conference Proceeding &#8211; <\/strong><strong>Conference contribution<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/library\/files\/2015\/07\/conference1v2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3262\" alt=\"conference1v2\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/library\/files\/2015\/07\/conference1v2.jpg\" width=\"554\" height=\"118\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use this template if the paper presented at a conference has been published as an article in a Conference Proceedings.<\/li>\n<li>The Proceedings publication will usually have an ISSN or ISBN and publication date.<\/li>\n<li>Include the title of the Proceedings publication in the host publication field.<\/li>\n<li>It is helpful if the conference details (e.g. title, location, date) are added in the event field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Contribution to Conference <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/library\/files\/2015\/07\/conference2v2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3263\" alt=\"conference2v2\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/library\/files\/2015\/07\/conference2v2.jpg\" width=\"381\" height=\"65\" \/><\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use this template if you have presented a Paper, Poster, Abstract or Other Contribution at a conference but it is not published in a Proceedings.<\/li>\n<li>Select the template (e.g. paper) which best reflects your research output.<\/li>\n<li>An event can be added to give details of the conference attended.<\/li>\n<li>If possible it is helpful if a URL link to the conference, conference programme or abstract is added in &#8216;Other links&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Once the research has been presented select the\u00a0&#8216;Published&#8217; option in the <em>Publication\u00a0state<\/em> drop down menu. Use the date it was presented at the conference<\/li>\n<li>If you are uploading a record that is for a conference that has not yet happened select the &#8216;Accepted&#8217; option in the <em>Publication state<\/em> drop down menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you upload a record and the Open Access Team feels a different conference template would enhance the record we will make this change and notify you via an automatic message.
