Memberships include:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biomedcentral.com\/\">BioMed Central Pre-pay Membership<\/a>, Limited funding is available to pay full publishing costs of articles authored by Queen\u2019s researchers and published by BioMed Central.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/royalsocietypublishing.org\/site\/librarians\/member_qub.xhtml\">Royal Society Open Access Institutional Membership<\/a> entitles Queen\u2019s research staff and students to a 25% discount on article processing charges (APCs) for open access publications in any of the Royal Society\u2019s journals.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.plos.org\/support-us\/institutional-membership\/\">PLOS (Public Library of Science) Institutional Membership<\/a>, this membership is pending.\u00a0 Queen\u2019s researchers will be entitled to a 10% discount on publication fees in all PLOS journals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Queries regarding these Open Access Publisher memberships should be sent to Ursula Mitchel, <a href=\"mailto:u.mitchel@qub.ac.uk\">u.mitchel@qub.ac.uk<\/a> or your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.qub.ac.uk\/directorates\/InformationServices\/TheLibrary\/ContactingtheLibrary\/SubjectLibrarians\/\">Subject Librarian<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Library has recently acquired open access memberships to various publishers to help Queen\u2019s research staff with payment of open access publication fees.
