{"id":1194,"date":"2011-05-18T10:35:35","date_gmt":"2011-05-18T09:35:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/library\/?p=1194"},"modified":"2011-05-18T10:35:35","modified_gmt":"2011-05-18T09:35:35","slug":"students-video-guides-to-the-library","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/library\/2011\/05\/18\/students-video-guides-to-the-library\/","title":{"rendered":"Students&#8217; Video Guides to the Library"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two new videos are available on the Library\u2019s YouTube channel:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/kNh9ftnHPrE\">Students\u2019 Take on the Library<\/a> <strong>&#8211; <\/strong>a guide to using The McClay Library<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/JIshkTxtMpM\">Students\u2019 Top Tips for Using the Library<\/a><strong> \u2013 <\/strong>advice about making the most of The McClay Library<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both are aimed primarily at new undergraduates and prospective students and were devised and filmed by current students.<\/p>\n<p>The project was funded by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.qub.ac.uk\/directorates\/sgc\/wpu\/\">Widening Participation Unit<\/a> and the films were edited by <a href=\"http:\/\/go.qub.ac.uk\/Lcaab\">Video Services<\/a>. \u00a0Students can borrow cameras and laptops with editing software from Video Services for approved projects.
