BBC Monitoring Service event

Nick Rhodes from BBC Monitoring Service will visit the McClay Library on Wednesday 17th May and will give a demonstration of the service in the Gillespie Room Floor 2 of the McClay from 10 am to 11 am. Please sign up for this event here

Key features of BBC Monitoring Service are:

-          Translations of news reports from freely available media sources around the world

-          Over 100 languages in 150 countries

-          Reliable, immediate information and insight from multiple media sources

-          An average of 500 items added daily. A deeper archive with 4 million items and articles dating back to 1996

-          Analysis and research on geopolitics, terrorism and global media

-          advanced search by country, date and topic

A trial of BBC Monitoring Service will be available until May 31 2017.
