Reservations awaiting collection are now available on a self-service basis (near the Extended Hours Reading Room). This means that you will now be able to collect you reserved book (excluding inter-library loans) when the Borrower Services desk is closed.
You can easily find your reserved item by looking for the first letter of your surname followed by the last four digits on your student card. One of the self service terminals has been located close to the reservations shelving for your convenience.
Thank you for exploring ways that students can collect reserved books out of hours – but PLEASE don’t do too much else to reduce human contact with library staff. Please consider the benefits that some students may gain from personal contact with a friendly adult human face in the library. As soon as an automated system is put in place its create another deterrent to making any contact with library staff.
