{"id":1698,"date":"2026-09-02T11:58:50","date_gmt":"2026-09-02T10:58:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/lc\/?p=1698"},"modified":"2026-09-02T12:09:48","modified_gmt":"2026-09-02T11:09:48","slug":"under-one-moon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/lc\/2026\/09\/02\/under-one-moon\/","title":{"rendered":"Under One Moon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mid-Autumn Festival &amp; Multilingual Celebration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Join us on\u00a0<strong>Friday 25 September 2026, from 11:00 to 13:30, in The Auditorium, McClay Library<\/strong>, for an inclusive celebration of autumn, moon traditions and the many languages that connect our community at Queen&#8217;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through a selection of short films, discover how the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, Korean Chuseok, Vietnamese T\u1ebft Trung Thu, Japanese Tsukimi and other moon-related traditions share themes of harvest, family and togetherness while retaining their own distinctive customs, foods and stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event will also mark the&nbsp;<strong>European Day of Languages on 26 September<\/strong>, celebrating its 2026 theme,&nbsp;<strong>\u201cLanguages unite!\u201d<\/strong> Whether you speak one language or many, all are welcome.
