(6\/4\/2010)<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>During the months of February and March honni is running a trial to three key point of care resources.\u00a0 The three resources are Dynamed, FirstConsult and BMJ Evidence which enable you to obtain reliable clinical information quickly and in an accessible format.\u00a0 <em>Up To Date<\/em> is a similar resource and has been recommended to the library.\u00a0 Unfortunately <em>Up To Date<\/em> is extremely expensive to make available through honni and, at the moment, the suppliers are unwilling to provide\u00a0a trial.\u00a0 The resources being trailed are some of the possible alternatives.<\/p>\n<p>The three resources are outlined below.\u00a0 To access each, simply click on the link and enter your username (number on your library card) and password.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/directory.qub.ac.uk\/athens_ajax.php?form=HONNI&amp;requester=metalib&amp;requesturl=http:\/\/www.qub.ac.uk\/ezproxy-cgi\/metalib.cgi?url=http:\/\/search.ebscohost.com\/\/login.aspx?authtype=athens&amp;amp;lp=athens.asp&amp;profile=dynamed\">Dynamed<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mdconsult.com.honni.ezp.qub.ac.uk\/das\/pdxmd\/lookup\/180501509-2?type=med\">FirstConsult<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/group.bmj.com.honni.ezp.qub.ac.uk\/products\/evidence-centre\/best-practice\">BMJ Evidence<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The library would value your feedback in order to help assess which would be the most useful to library users.\u00a0 Please take a few moments to complete the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.honni.qub.ac.uk\/ResourceFeedbackForm\/\">online feedback form<\/a>.\u00a0 Alternatively please contact your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.honni.qub.ac.uk\/Contacts\/\">subject librarian <\/a>directly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This trial has now ended.
