{"id":15,"date":"2008-09-22T12:10:12","date_gmt":"2008-09-22T12:10:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/honni\/?p=15"},"modified":"2008-09-22T12:10:12","modified_gmt":"2008-09-22T12:10:12","slug":"proquest-medical-library-cookie-problem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/healthcarelibrary\/2008\/09\/22\/proquest-medical-library-cookie-problem\/","title":{"rendered":"ProQuest Medical Library problem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recent changes made to the method of authenticating to ProQuest appear to have resolved this problem.\u00a0\u00a0 If you still experience\u00a0difficulty at any time please report it to <a href=\"mailto:med.info@qub.ac.uk\">med.info@qub.ac.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Occasionally, when you try to search or connect to ProQuest Medical Library, you will find that you have actually connected to ABI\/Inform.\u00a0 Check the top left hand corner of the screen to see which database is listed.<\/p>\n<p>This sometimes happens if someone else previously used the PC for access to\u00a0ABI\/Inform and did not close their browser when they had finished. We therefore advise all users who may need to access ProQuest resources to close any open browser sessions before logging on to the system.\u00a0 Otherwise, if this problem is encountered,\u00a0it will be\u00a0necessary to log out of honni e-Lib, close the browser and start again.
