Thank you for a great day!

Well, what can we say? Thank you so much to everyone who attended the 2014 Fuel Poverty Symposium in Belfast on July 18th 2014. It was great to see so many interesting and informative presentations from our speakers. The quality of research on show was of incredibly high quality and this was something that encouraged a lot of people on the day. Thank you for being a vital part of what was undoubtedly a successful event! We hope you enjoyed the event and found it useful. For our overseas visitors, we hope you enjoyed your visit to Northern Ireland!

We will shortly be writing up a report of proceedings from the day. We kindly thank the presenters for agreeing to make their presentations available. These are now uploaded to the website. A photo gallery of the event is also now available.

Also, we will shortly be beginning the editorial process for the special fuel poverty edition of the Queen’s Political Review. For further details on this, please contact Ben Christman at bchristman01@qub.ac.uk.

We also believe that discussions are afoot regarding another similar early career researcher event next year as part of the National Energy Action (NEA) conference in England. There was also interest shown at the closing session for holding a similar event next year. We really hope that we will meet again!

Finally, here are the links to the websites and email lists which were discussed at the closing session:
Please use these to distribute information about similar events, new research, etc. to your peers. Please do keep in touch!
Thanks again and very best wishes for your research. Hope to see you all again!
