Registration

Hello all!

We are pleased to announce that registration for the event is open. If you are involved in any aspect of fuel poverty research, you are very welcome to attend. This Symposium acknowledges the important contribution of the postgraduate, post-doctoral and early career research community to the understanding of fuel poverty in society and it aims to bring these researchers together to share recent results and initiate discussions that can lead to deeper understanding of fuel poverty. The event will also provide a unique opportunity for networking with research peers within a subject-specific forum, with a view to promoting the sharing of knowledge and potential collaboration in future research. It will be a great opportunity for you to get to know other researchers within the postgraduate fuel poverty research community.

The Symposium will examine several aspects of fuel poverty research, specifically: Health, Households and Energy Efficiency; Fuel Poverty and Governance; Fuel Poverty in the European Union; and Conceptualizing Fuel Poverty. Presentations will feature research results from the UK, Belgium, Spain and Central Europe. A full list of speakers and their topics is available here. We are also pleased to announce several guest presentations from experienced practitioners, policy-makers and academics currently working in the field of fuel poverty. Details on our guest speakers are available here.

Attendance is free but in order to attend please click here to register. Those interested in attending should note that places are limited and are intended for postgraduate and early career fuel poverty researchers. We can assist with travel and accommodation costs if necessary.

If you have been accepted as a speaker at this event, there is no need for you to register.

If you need any further information, please contact the organizers. We look forward to welcoming you in July!

Kind regards

Ben & Ryan
