Call for Papers

A call for papers has been issued for this event. Papers are invited from a broad range of disciplines (e.g. policy studies, health, engineering, sociology, geography, etc., etc.)

If you are interested in submitting a paper, please submit a 250-word (max) abstract outlining the key details of your research (background, methods, key results and conclusions), along with a 100-word biography.

The deadline for submitting your abstract is 5pm on Friday May 16th 2014.

You will receive confirmation on the outcome of your submission by June 2nd 2014. If successful, you will be expected to prepare a 15-minute talk, based on your abstract, to present at the Symposium.

Fuel Poverty Symposium 2014

We are pleased to announce that a Symposium for young fuel poverty researchers will be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland this summer. It will take place at Queen’s University on Friday July 18th 2014 and is being jointly organized by doctoral researchers, Ben Christman from Queen’s, and Ryan Walker from the University of Ulster. A call for papers has been issued. All postgraduate and early career fuel poverty researchers from institutions in the UK and Republic of Ireland are encouraged to participate. It promises to be great event for networking with peers, as well as fostering a postgraduate community of fuel poverty researchers, and providing potential opportunities for collaboration.
