The Democratic Unionist Association held its final event of the academic year, the Annual Dinner, on Friday 4th June at McKee’s Country Store & Restaurant, Newtownards. The dinner was well attended, with many of our elected represenatives and other friends from across the province joining members for an evening that was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The meal was preceded by music provided by Richard Cameron and Philip Murdock and was followed by an address from Rt. Hon. Nigel Dodds MP. Nigel spoke on the successes of the General Election as well as the challenges that lie ahead. A fundraising auction, conducted by Peter Weir MLA concluded the evening.
