It\u2019s based on the central timetabling system, and all classes labelled as \"<em data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"675\">lectures\" (LT)<\/em> are included (Policy 6.1). However, lecturers have full discretion to opt out of automated recording for any reason (Policy 6.2). Staff autonomy and professional judgement will be respected (Policy 6.2). <\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW228800436 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW165696931 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW165696931 BCX0\">It is recommended that only lecturers change their recording settings. However, if needed, staff with a Teacher, TA or Course Designer role in the Canvas module can change settings.
